The Sculpted Soft Gel Extension Certification is the third pathway in the certification program, building on the knowledge and techniques developed in Pathways 1 and 2. This course focuses on the safe preparation of the natural nail using an efile, proper application of full-coverage soft gel tips, and the maintenance techniques required to keep clients’ nails healthy throughout their enhancement journey.

Students will safely prepare the natural nail using an e-file while preserving the health of the nails, ensuring maximum product adhesion without causing unnecessary damage. The course emphasizes proper tip sizing, customization, application techniques, and curing protocols to create durable, natural-looking enhancements that are comfortable for clients to wear.

In addition to initial application, this certification teaches technicians how to safely maintain soft gel tip enhancements through proper rebalancing techniques and complete removal procedures.

Understanding when to rebalance, when to replace, and how to safely remove products helps preserve the integrity of the natural nail while extending the life of the service.

Throughout this certification you will learn how to:

1. Safely prepare the natural nail using an e-file for optimal product adhesion.

2. Properly size, customize, and fit soft gel tips for a precise, comfortable application.

3. Apply full-coverage soft gel tips using safe gel application and UV/LED curing practices.

4. Prevent common service breakdowns through proper preparation, product control, and application techniques.

5. Perform safe rebalances to maintain the structure and appearance of soft gel tip enhancements.

6. Safely remove soft gel tips while minimizing impact on the natural nail.
