Have you always been interested in footcare?

I live in Puerto Rico, where I own and operate Nails & Co LLC since 2016 and work as a nail professional, educator, and Certified Master Pedicurist. My career originally began with a strong focus on nails and manicures, but as I gained more experience, I became increasingly interested in footcare and in understanding the different concerns my clients presented with. I wanted to offer more than a beautiful service. I wanted to provide thoughtful, specialized solutions while continuing to grow professionally.

Why are you passionate about Nanoflex and what lead you to become a Nanoflex Educator?

What attracted me to NanoFlex was the ability to create natural-looking aesthetic reconstructions for clients who have experienced partial nail loss, trauma, or other changes to the nail. I became very interested in learning the system properly because I saw how valuable this service could be for both my clients and other professionals. Becoming a NanoFlex Educator is especially meaningful to me because it gives me the opportunity to share that knowledge with other nail technicians and help them approach reconstruction with more confidence, education, and professionalism.

Who Inspires you and why?

I am inspired by professionals who never stop learning and who are willing to evolve beyond what is comfortable. I especially admire educators who combine technical excellence with the ability to genuinely help others grow. That is the type of professional and educator I strive to be.

What’s your philosophy towards your work?

My philosophy is that knowledge should always come before technique. I believe we should understand what we are doing, why we are doing it, and when a service is appropriate before applying a product. My goal is always to provide beautiful results while working responsibly, professionally, and within my scope.

Proudest Career Moment?

One of my proudest career moments has been seeing how my career has evolved from working behind the nail table to becoming an educator and creating educational opportunities for other professionals. Becoming an approved NanoFlex Educator is especially meaningful because it represents something I actively pursued and worked hard to achieve.

A sentence or quote that best describes you?

A sentence that best describes me is: “Never stop learning, because every new skill creates a new opportunity.”

What does being a role model mean to you?

To me, being a role model means leading through actions. It means continuing to learn, being willing to share what you know, treating people with respect, and showing others that growth is possible when you are consistent and intentional about your goals.

What advice would you give to your 10 yr old self?

If I could give advice to my 10-year-old self, I would say: do not be afraid to dream bigger than what you can currently see. Keep learning, trust the process, and do not let fear stop you from trying something new. Some of your greatest opportunities will come from saying yes to things that once felt out of reach.

What is your favourite colour?

My favourite colour is brown!
