What lead you to become a Nail Tech?
I decided, After many years of working “People that had too much control of my future” play a role in what I could and couldn’t do. I decided it was time to take control of “MY life”. I met up with my old nail tech / owner of Nail Techniques and had a little chat about stuff – life and the Nail Business. This chat led me to taking the big step to my new career, new future and my life. I love what I do and I choose to do what I love.
If you could do any other career, what would you do?
I love what I do! This is it! – Unless of course I won the lottery – I may decided to do something else, somewhere in the sun!
What do you enjoy most about being a Educator for Fuzion?
I love sitting with my students and helping them realize their dreams and follow their passion. I have found I have gone back to the basics – paid more attention to the “little” details and working on my skills. Always learning, even as the educator, always growing!
Who inspires you and why?
I have a few wonderful people in my life whom inspire me! Strong, caring, giving and loving people always standing by your side, willing to help you or anyone in an instant. They inspire me to be better.
What is your ideal work environment?
I love a cozy relaxing space, where you can relax and be yourself and enjoy the people you are hanging with.
Proudest career moment?
Being gently “pushed off the wagon” to be an Educator – knowing someone thought I had what it takes to be an “Excellent Role Model”.
A sentence or quote that best describes you?
Stay Humble / Work Hard / Be Kind Always.
What does being a role model mean to you?
Be someone who makes everybody feel like a somebody.
