What lead you to become a Nail Tech?

I wanted to have my nails done and didn’t want to spend the money.  I was also very picky and every time I went to get mine done, I would come home and reshape them.  Funny thing is…once I started doing nails and was doing a good job, I never had time to do my own.

If you could do any other career, what would you do?

I don’t know.  I love doing nails, but sometimes people are hard.  I have been my own boss for so long I don’t know if I could ever be a regular employee again.

What do you enjoy most about being an Educator for Fuzion?

I love teaching people and seeing them improve and become successful.  It’s the best sense of accomplishment to know that you have helped someone achieve their goals.

Who inspires you and why?

All my fellow nail techs inspire me.  I have made so many great friends that have amazing talent!  I often try to duplicate what they are doing.  Sometimes it turns out, sometimes not so much.

What is your ideal work environment?

I started working from home two years ago.  I love working from home, but it is still a home.  My ideal day would be home alone with my clients and have my family arrive as the last client leaves.  I would also love to have a full time house keeper.  Lol

What’s your philosophy towards your work?

My philosophy is that I will take as long as I need to finish my service and do the best job I can.  I’m not saying that time doesn’t matter to me, but I make sure that my work is about quality and not speed.

Proudest career moment?

I am always proud when someone I admire likes one of my posts on social media.

What advice would you give your 10 year old self?

To work hard and always put your best foot forward.

Favourite Colour?

Pink and Black

Hidden Talent?

I have been dabbling in painting, acrylic, watercolours, coloured pencil

What does your perfect day look like?

Three nail appointments, sitting by the fire or walking along the beach in the evening.
