What lead you to become a Nail Tech?
I loved getting my nails done, I was always interested in the process and probably drove my nail technician crazy with all my questions, so when my boyfriend at the time suggested I look into learning Nails and Esthetics, i figured “Why not!”
If you could do any other career, what would you do?
A Counsellor.
What do you enjoy most about being a Educator for Fuzion?
I love the support that I get from the whole group of #teamfuzion. I enjoy teaching the other techs with this amazing, easy to use product!
Who inspires you and why?
My clients, students and other nail technicians. My clients bring photos and ideas that stretch my imagination. My students want to learn, which pushes me to learn more so that I can show it to them, I am always excited to try new things!
What is your ideal work environment?
Peace and quiet. I enjoy listening to my clients and building relationships with them.
What’s your philosophy towards your work?
I have always been described as a workaholic. I believe in working as hard as you can to reach your goals.
Proudest career moment?
Becoming a Fuzion Educator.
A sentence or quote that best describes you?
There are many people out there who will tell you that you can’t, what you have to do is turn around and say “Watch Me!”
What does being a role model mean to you?
Leading by example, always being available to help, and promoting yourself.
What advice would you give your 10 year old self?
Don’t give up, you can do this!
